Finally know what I'm losing
I'm 48. Perimenopausal. My weight has barely moved in 3 years but my body completely changed and I had no idea why. Doctor told me "this is normal at your age" and didn't help. Bought the TBI in March. First scan showed my muscle mass was 4 kilos below normal for my height and age. That's it. That was the answer the whole time. I wasn't gaining weight. I was losing muscle. Started lifting twice a week. Nothing crazy — 8 and 10 lb dumbbells in my living room. 90 days later muscle is up 2 kilos, metabolic age dropped from 52 to 48. Same weight on the scale the whole time. I wish my doctor had this in her office. Honestly.
